Fitch's-Quote

The show opened with this quote, or closed, if you didn't see it until you were on your way out. And, if you didn't notice it going in, you did notice it going out. This was the way of the show. Once viewers came into the show and began trying to figure out what "it was all about" they then began to pay attention to the continuous and harmonious integration of images and ideas.
This quote had been adopted by me since I found it at a yard sale back at the beginning of my Masters research in 1993. It summed up my beliefs about the choices I've made as a teacher all my life. With this show, I've wondered how, what I've done will begin to surface as evidence. I know I'll be dead before it all comes to light; hummm . . . I guess we can all say that tho. Or, . . . let's think about it, or what we do.
