Don't look for perfection. The original Fingerprint Bar Code was not a single pixel horizontal stretch. So the lines are not "perfectly" continuous and very subtle variations permeate the image. So, when I created this image with the same triangle sections used for "Stacked Triangles" I noticed that the opposite sides did not line-up exactly. This creates an almost imperceptible variation when the hexagon is formed. So, when someone points out that this image in not a "perfect" hexagon, I smile. "Yes," I say, "I know."
My infatuation is with the structure that always reminds me of quartz crystals. Now look at "Cellular." (in the show) when you see it you'll say, "See, it's not perfect."
