The Gallery, YOTA and faculty roles
The last year of the last century was a time to actualize a dream of having a gallery at RHS. Then Principal, Robert Denham, made it possible to have this, our Margaret Clark Gallery. Art Staff from both RHS and REV, as well as other faculty and staff members, parents and, of course, students (see blue panel with names by entry door) brought donated funds together to create this gallery. We successfully collected needed funds the year before when we held an all district schools art fair to kick off the gallery project. In the case is artwork done by one of our art students, a YOTA (Year of the Arts) mug, and the photos show the work in progress. There was a flood in the basement of this Library where we stored the artwork and memorabilia from other shows. Many pieces were lost and damaged. But this evidence remains until now.
The three t-shirts were of different faculty roles I had been in.
